Why wage protection system
In line with regulatory requirements, all Corporate client “employers” in Oman are required to submit their salary transfer request under the Wage Protection System (WPS) using a structured file approved by the Central Bank of Oman.

Ways to upload file
Via OABnet
With Corporate Online Banking (OABnet) you can process all of your WPS payments with any format (Excel, CSV). Create and save templates for recurring types of salary payments. Contact PCM team to enable the salary upload profile at: pcm@oman-arabbank.com
File Submission
Secured files with password protection can be submitted via our branches. Please click on the link below to download the tool to enable you to create the file. Download Payments Files Generator – WPS For further information pcm@oman-arabbank.com for corporate clients, or retail-sme@oman-arabbank.com for non-borrowing SMEs.
Eligibility
- Elite Deposit Account: Maintain a minimum monthly average total balance of OMR 35,000
- Elite Salary Account: Credit a monthly salary of OMR 3,500 or more.
Documents Required
- Copy of a valid Omani ID or resident card.
- Copy of a valid passport or visa – for expatriates
- Transfer of salary to any Oman Arab Bank branch.
